Anja has a fashion design background, having worked for more than two decades in various parts of the supply chain. This includes working as a designer, product manager, and a sourcing and quality control manager at a European denim and casual pants brand. She has also been involved in setting up new sourcing operations in Bangladesh and China. Other notable experiences include working in an Indonesian factory that specialized in outdoor and sportswear, as well as working for one of the largest global buying houses. For many years, Anja has lived in Asia, allowing her to develop excellent cross-cultural communication roles. These days, she is a Manufacturer Screening Manager at Topformer where she connects fashion brands with the top 3% global manufacturers. Anja is able to leverage her unique insights and experiences in the industry over the years to understand the challenges faced by buyers, manufacturers, and sourcing agents.
